endless tears, for my endless dear...

Joshua is slightly on the emo side today. You wanna know why? Are u sure u wanna know? well even if you don't want to know, i'll tell you. Because it's my blog! Live with it!
Anyway, the story goes like this, about half an hour ago, i opened my internet explorer(IE) browser. So, my home page, BBC.com opened up showing me all the up to date news from every corner of the globe. And under the 'entertainment' portion, a really interesting headline brought a tear to my eye (not literally). It read, '50 cent named songwriter of the year'. -_-... my immediate reaction was, 'HAHAHAHA.. this shits faulty, i'll just refresh the page'... so i did and it still was there... so i click on the link, bringing me to the whole story on 50 cents remarkable win.
ASCAP. The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. The IDIOTS!! who can actually even consider 50 cent as eligible for such an honourable and prestigious award. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD THINK OF FREAKING 50 CENT AS SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!! WHAT THE FREAKING HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!!!! ALL OF YOU!!!!!

this got me thinking, my goodness, todays music industry has really gone to the dumps... if the same people who come up with shit like:

can actually WIN an award for freaking songwriter of the year!!!! the last time i checked, music was about expression, about emotion, about passion, about music.... but what i see now is, music from being about love, it has become all about money. A man once said, people like 50 cent deserves to be shot..if the 5 shots he already has isnt enought to put him to sleep, give him anouther 5!. I belive that man was me. please man, its killing my love, my dear... i know there are still honest musicians who do it from the heart... i could name a whole novel full... but the few that do it from the greed.. its homocide, plain killing.

I don't know how much more of this shit i can take... i'm off to play my guitar and listen to some proper music.. maybe it'll help calm me down...
